I was excited to see the outcome, and how they translated our look into their own style. We provided the clothes, and their team took over to style and shoot, creating their own vision. They also made a video which brings the shoot to life and is great for showing the movement of the garments and creating a sense of the mood.
Instinctively it can be hard to hand control of your work over to someone else, but I think it’s a really positive thing. Its always interesting to see how other people perceive and translate your work, in the same way that two people can buy the same dress and style it in completely different ways. It’s refreshing to see a different perspective and I think collaborative work is definitely something to pursue, it adds contrast and inspires new ideas.
